My Observer chocolate column in its new home, and I divulge the secret I've been keeping these last few months.
I was diagnosed with cancer in September. That’s all I’ll say for now as I like to keep some boundaries in place and also life, and me, are about MORE than cancer. Also when it’s been pretty much your life (and let’s be grateful for that) for the last seven months you need some respite.
But I do intend to write about it soon and also reading about other’s experiences of being ill has made me feel so much better and not so alone.
Because having cancer (and, I’m sure, other things but I have no experience of those so far) is really, really isolating.
Anyway. Let’s talk about chocolate.
.
Here is my lovely chocolate column in its new home at Tortoise where I talk about a healing trip to Leeds and a lovely hot chocolate at Knoops.
With you all the way, Annalisa
Wishing you only the best Annalisa. Coraggio e bocca al lupo.
