Chocolate correspondent must be the best sort of correspondent!
What a shame you’ve had negative comments. I’ve enjoyed lots of the chocolates you’ve recommended (thank you) - my favourite being from Continuum Conceits. Her Christmas selection boxes are like nothing else, and now I have Easter eggs to look forward to!
Up here in Norfolk there’s a new chocolate maker - I don’t know if you’ve come across them (hopefully I haven’t missed any of your columns mentioning them?!) They are called Darkroom Chocolate, based in North Walsham. There’s even a cafe on Saturdays there when you can have their bars melted into hot chocolate. Really nice people too.

I think Crisp Correspondent would also be good but I think the one I'd try for next is Sandwich Correspondent. I love a sandwich...
Yes I love Contiuum Conceits too. Ah are you in Norfolk? Whereabout (roughly!)
I have written about Dark Room (https://www.theguardian.com/food/2024/apr/21/notes-on-chocolate-a-seriously-intense-70-dark-choc) but I love hearing about reader's recommendations. My friend often seems to be at the cafe as I see her Insta posts!.
Crisp correspondent! Please do it 😄 Or go for the double, crisp *and* sandwich?
Sorry I missed your Darkroom article.
I’ve only been to the cafe a couple of times (so far) but I was buzzing after all the drinks, cakes, tasters…. Quite a hit.
It’s not far from me - I’m in Norwich, the city that used to smell of chocolate!
Norwich is lovely! I especially live the Elizabethan graffiti in the cathedral
Yes it’s a lovely city, so much history!
