As a baker, how did you find giving up sugar? I have been weighing it up for a while but also have a small, picky-eating child whom I'm trying to interest in making food. And generally she wants to make cakes. Although she did help make scrambled eggs (did not eat them though) and pizza (ate the crusts).

Ah it doesn't stop me baking, just eating it. I still bake a lot.

To be absolutely accurate I still have very small amounts of chocolate for my job, but instead of half a bar like I used to have I'll have one piece and for pleasure I only eat above 85%. So i still do eat a very small amount of sugar but no cakes at all, only the very occasional taste. I've found it fine, I do miss it occasionally but I've lost the taste for them and for me it's a health issues so I found it not hard at all. And three stones lighter I have a whole new wardrobe which is a good replacement!
